Writing the summary paragraph for a monthly report usually means scanning three or four tables by hand, doing the analysis in your head, and typing up what you found: work that has nothing to do with the numbers themselves and everything to do with turning them into a sentence someone else can read.
The Excel-like Tables Assistant, a Rovo-powered AI agent built into Excel-like Tables, reads across one or multiple Excel-like Tables for Confluence sheets on the same page and generates a written summary: trends, standout figures, plain-language takeaways.
Open it from the table’s operation bar (“Analyze this table with Rovo”) or through Rovo Chat, point it at the table, sheet, or range you want covered, and ask follow-up questions to refine the answer.
It’s read-only: it can’t touch your table’s structure, formulas, or permissions, and it only sees what you already have permission to view.
A Business Analyst preparing a monthly ops review opens the Assistant against three KPI tables, asks it to summarize what changed since last month, and gets a paragraph back that’s ready to drop straight into the report — the kind of write-up that used to take the better part of an hour. As with any AI output, it’s worth reviewing the answer against the source data before using it.
